Advising on exit from Minacs Group

Collyer Law advised the founder of private equity fund Capital Square Partners and the Executive Chairman of Minacs Group Pte Ltd in the legal documentation in connection with the exit and gain-sharing arrangements from the consortium formed with CX Partners in connection with the USD420m sale of leading Singapore-headquartered Indian BPO company, Minacs Group Pte Ltd, to its American buyer, Synnex, Inc.

This was one of 2016’s largest acquisitions in the business process outsourcing (BPO) arena, and the 2nd major acquisition in India for the US-based Synnex Corporation, a Fortune 500 company. The deal marks one of the most successful Asian private equity exits in the information technology services industry – that of CX Partners and Capital Square Partners.

This deal and was awarded "Deal of the Year 2016" by the Indian Business Law Journal in its December 2016 issue.
