
Senior Associate / Associate Director (Commercial Disputes, Litigation and Arbitration)
Roles & Responsibilities
Collyer Law LLC is inviting applications at the Senior Associate or Legal Director level with a particular focus on commercial disputes, litigation and arbitration to join our renowned corporate boutique practice and growing team of 3 Directors, and a team of 12 including 9 lawyers, plus trainees and staff.

You are an established dispute resolution lawyer who is now seeking a dynamic and global platform to further your career and leadership/business development skills, whilst working as part of a collaborative and close-knit team of industry experts.
Key responsibilities include:

Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of litigation and dispute resolution cases, including but not limited to commercial disputes, international arbitration and regulatory matters

Draft, review and manage the filing of legal documents

Direct all facets of trial preparation, from discovery through to the development and execution of robust trial strategies
​

Represent clients effectively in negotiations, mediations and arbitrations, striving for outcomes that align with their best interests

To lead and work with junior lawyers as well as actively support other Directors in the firm
​

Provide strategic legal advice, ensuring the client’s needs are addressed with the utmost professionalism and efficiency

Be an effective and persuasive communicator who can articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively in a fast-paced legal environment

Thrive in a fast-paced environment, where you will learn to think on your feet, and take a commercial view, while advising on significant matters
Key requirements include:

Singapore-qualified advocate and solicitor with 6-12 years' post qualification experience, preferably from a reputable law firm in disputes

Reliable and responsible team member with a passion for advocacy

A proven ability to navigate and resolve complex legal issues with a practical and commercial approach
​

Resilience under pressure, with a proven track record of managing tight deadlines and delivering results
​

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated ability to interact confidently with clients and develop business pro-actively

Team player who can work in a multi-cultural and collegiate law-firm environment
