Collyer Law LLC is looking for a senior lawyer (with at least 8-10 years of PQE) for its Practice Area of Technology Transactions, Regulatory and Advisory, to join an award-winning boutique Singapore law firm that is poised well for further growth.

Specific responsibilities include :

Technology Transactions, Regulatory and Advisory In this role you will provide legal support to the existing clients of Collyer Law LLC with responsibility for drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of technology-related agreements, including software licensing, SAAS/ PAAS, website terms of use, privacy policies, franchising, distribution, reseller, procurement and outsourcing agreements, as well as on general “TMT matters” such as data protection, and intellectual property advisory. You may also be required to assist on commercial agreements in connection with corporate transactions and general corporate advisory

Key responsibilities include:
  • You will also be involved in supporting the Directors (i.e., Equity Partners) in supervising deals and matters that they bring in, and mentoring more junior lawyers.

  • You will also have the opportunity to contribute to new business development and growth initiatives through participation in strategic projects with high business impact and visibility.

Key requirements include:
  • At least 8-10 years' experience in top-tier Singapore or international law-firm, or solid experience in-house in these Practice Areas.

  • Professional admission in at least one of the following jurisdictions: Singapore, Malaysia, England & Wales, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, or Canada.

  • Excellent academic background.

  • Strong knowledge of law, and keen commercial judgement.

  • Significant experience in managing and executing large volumes of work

  • Excellent technical skills with a practical approach to problem-solving.

  • Ability to handle pressure and work to challenging deadlines.

  • Excellent English communication, both verbal as well as written.

  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural and collegiate law-firm environment, and to work both autonomously and as part of a team as and when required.

  • A desire and ability to grow professional profile and to assume a leading role
