Area of Expertise
Joshua is a Singapore-qualified lawyer in the firm’s dispute resolution team. He has acted as lead and assisting counsel in commercial and construction disputes across all levels of the Singapore courts and in various arbitration institutions. He is experienced in managing matters end-to-end, from early case assessment and strategy to evidence preparation and hearings.
Joshua’s work frequently involves complex factual records and tight timelines. He is known for a structured, detail-oriented approach, and for distilling complicated issues into clear, practical advice and persuasive written advocacy.
Before entering practice, Joshua served in the Singapore Police Force, where he developed the discipline and judgment that continues to inform his approach to contentious work.
Joshua is committed to giving back through pro bono and community service, and frequently acts for accused persons in pro bono matters.
Interests
Outside practice, Joshua enjoys staying active and competitive through pickleball and the gym. He is also a lifelong Arsenal supporter who keeps up with matches whenever his schedule allows.
Joshua is also learning the Korean language.
