Collyer Law LLC is looking for a Legal Associate (promotion to "Senior Associate" in 12 months) to undertake a heady mix of legal work involving General Corporate, Venture Capital and Fund Formation work, to join a boutique and growing team of 3 Directors, and a team of 10 including 9 lawyers and 1 staff.

Key responsibilities include:

​

• You will be involved with a full spectrum of both domestic and cross-border transactional work, including high-end venture capital financings opposite Silicon Valley based law-firms and top-tier Singapore and Indian law-firms. 

​

• You will also have the opportunity to advise on and be involved in high-stakes, complex cross-border corporate transactions, including M&A and private equity, supporting a senior team and mentoring more junior lawyers.

​

• Please expect a fast-paced environment, where you will learn to think on your feet, and take a commercial view, while advising on significant matters. 

​

​

Key requirements include:

​

• at least 2-4 years' experience in top-tier Singapore or international law-firm, or solid experience in-house at a private equity or venture capital fund.

​

• Relevant regional experience and/or dual qualification will be highly valued

​

• Top-notch academics and training at international and local law firms

​

• Drive, initiative and gumption needed!

​

• Excellent English communication, both verbal as well as written

​

• Ability to work in a multi-cultural and collegiate law-firm environment
