Area of Expertise

 

Utsav is an Associate with the Corporate and Venture Capital Team and is a SIMI Accredited Mediator.

 

Prior to joining Collyer, Utsav held the appointment of Young IPOS Mediator at the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore. Utsav regularly coaches law students and judges at mediation and negotiation competitions. During his time in NUS, he received the Singapore Mediation Centre Prize for Mediation for Mediation Module. He represented NUS at numerous competitions such as ICC Commercial Mediation Competition (Paris) and V NLS where he has received awards, and has published work in the area of mediation. In NUS, Utsav focused on Computing and Technology Law related modules. He is also an editor at LawTech.Asia, a leading legal technology review.

 

Interests

 

Utsav is a National Cricket Player who equally enjoys gruelling long cycle rides up a steep hill as much as he does navigating a complex mid game position in chess.
