The Next Generation

Interns and Practice Trainees

Collyer Law is not just part of the legal landscape, we help shape it. This starts with next generation of legal minds. We offer internships and training contracts to individuals with a strong academic background, drive and ambition, common sense and curiosity, and demonstrable ability to rise to the challenges of a fast paced learning environment.

Interning at Collyer Law

An internship is a great opportunity for you to gain work experience in a professional working environment in your career path as a lawyer.

We offer internship programmes (generally two to four week programmes) in which you will engage with the full legal team, working with our lawyers and directors on active client projects. You will be treated as a part of our team and given opportunities to learn a variety of skills and demonstrate your ability.

Benefits:

  • We offer a stipend for the duration of your internship

  • Socials events and activities

Training at Collyer Law

We are currently accepting applications for those looking to fulfil training contracts in 2024 and 2025.

Our Trainee Programme adheres closely to the SILE guidelines to ensure foundational training and interpersonal and organisational skills growth in addition to your legal skills development. We work hard to create a holistic environment for our trainees to grow and learn as an integral part of the team. You will gain hands on experience and exposure to all practice areas, work on cross-border matters, stretch your legal knowledge through research and discussions, training assignments and drafting of documents for clients.

Benefits:

  • We offer an honorarium for the duration of your training contract and your Part B Bar Examination course.

  • We will also reimburse your Part B Bar Course fees on joining us as an Associate after the completion of your traineeship.
